At Running with Savy, I offer running training and mental skills tactics.
Founded in 2025 as a girl who shared a passion for sports, Running with Savy offers group and private training sessions.
At Running with Savy, I want to inspire the younger generation of athletes to not be afraid of chasing their dreams, whatever they may be.
Get personalized training from me to improve your results. I offer one-on-one training sessions and group training for beginning to long distance running.
I offer one-on-one and group coaching for anyone over the age of 8 years old. Training session lengths and styles will vary depending on age. Running can be fun if cultivated in an encouraging environment. I have several years of experience with children and am currently employed at St. Vincent De Paul as a P.E. Assistant.
I recently graduated with two Master's degrees: one in Strategic Communication from the University of Texas at Austin and another in Applied Sport & Performance Psychology from the University of St. Thomas in Houston. Prior to that, I earned my Bachelor's degree in Sports Management from the University of Arkansas in 2023.
After moving out of Texas during the COVID-19 pandemic, I found more time to dive deeper into the activities I love—especially running. My passion for running grew stronger throughout college, and I discovered how fulfilling it is to help others reach their goals through customized training and planning. There’s truly nothing like achieving a goal that you’ve poured your time and energy into.
I ran cross country and track for four years in high school and have completed eight half marathons, along with the Houston Marathon in January 2024.
Sports have always been a major part of my life, largely because of my family. Several of my relatives have competed at the Division I and professional levels, and being active has always been a priority in our household. I fell in love with running at a young age—thanks to my parents, who were avid runners and regularly competed in half marathons across Texas. I grew up either riding in the jogging stroller or running alongside them.
In my free time, I enjoy watching football and baseball, and I love cross-training at F45. I’ve found that balancing running with cross-training significantly reduces burnout and the risk of injury. I also enjoy supporting my younger brother, who plays football for the Drake Bulldogs in Des Moines, Iowa.
My goal is to run it in under 4 hours and 15 minutes, so all my workouts are tailored towards that. My training plan consists of speed workouts, easy runs, long runs, cross training, and strength training. Cross training and strength training are essential to improving endurance and decreasing the likelihood of injury. I also enjoy running with friends, as is something I have done for many years now. Running camaraderie brings me so much joy and I could not imagine my life without it!
